Description

Flowering all year round in warmer regions, Euphorbia ‘Diamond Frost’ P is a medium shrub covered in a white cloud of tiny butterfly-like bracts all along the green stems. 'Diamond Frost' P has exceptional heat and drought tolerance and can thrive in full sun to part shade.

Euphorbia ‘Diamond Frost’ P has been granted the status of Plant Breeders Rights P as indicated by the P symbol.

Uses

'Diamond Frost’ P lightens up your garden's sunny spots and is also suitable in semi shade areas.  It is an ideal edging plant or low, informal flowering hedge. ‘Diamond Frost’ P also is an excellent specimen for combination planting in larger hanging baskets, or larger feature pots on patios, terraces, and balconies.

Care

When planting, take care that mulch is not close to the main stem. Euphorbia ‘Diamond Frost’ P is very low maintenance. Slow-release fertiliser need only be applied every three or four months. If your ‘Diamond Frost’ P has too little light, try to transplant or move your container to a sunnier position. If temperatures drop, protect your ‘Diamond Frost’ P from frost if necessary, and do not be alarmed if flowers and foliage drop away. Pruning can be done at any time but is generally best when the weather is warm. ‘Diamond Frost’ P will quickly regrow and flower immediately after pruning of up to three quarters of its height and width.

Story

Euphorbia ‘Diamond Frost’ P was selected from a collaborative breeding program in Europe and Japan for its year-round flowering, near sterility, and compact growth habit. Its parents are native to Central America and can be found through to South America.
