Description

Nemesia Sunsatia® ‘Coconut’ has greater flower coverage, tidier habit, improved heat tolerance and more persistent colour through the season.  Sunsatia® ‘Coconut’ has stunning rich white flowers with dainty yellow eye that continue to bloom and rebloom all season.  This exceptionally cold tolerant annual works beautifully as a replacement or companion for pansies in colour bowls, baskets, window boxes and upright container companion planting.

Uses

Nemesia Sunsatia® are ideal for container gardening, to provide stunning floral accents in a large pot or in hanging baskets.  They look fabulous planted in single colour or combination with other plants. Nemesia Sunsatia® can also be grown in the garden in well-drained soil, providing stunning winter colour.

Care

Plant into sunny, part shaded well drained garden beds to which compost has been added. Likewise, when planting into pots, use the best quality potting mix you can buy and some compost or slow-release fertiliser at potting.  Do not allow potting mix or soil to dry out but avoid over-watering to prevent fungal disease in hot, humid weather.  In warmer climates with high humidity, Nemesia do best in pots with good airflow.

Nemesias are self-cleaning, so deadheading is unnecessary. However, the flower-bearing stems tend to bend once they reach a certain height, and therefore Nemesia do benefit from pruning. Cut the too-long stems back to their base above the auxiliary shoots, and within two weeks a new burst of colour appears.

A yearly application of fertiliser or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.

Wear gloves & wash hands after gardening.
